Announcement from Tenzing Factory
We will be exhibiting at Hata Festival 2022
Hata Festival will be held again this year. Its official name is the "Hataorimachi Festival." This is a major autumn event in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, a city famous for its textiles. It is an event where people from various fields related to fabrics come together to turn their fabrics into products and artworks. There will also be many exhibitors from outside Yamanashi Prefecture. Of course, there will also be plenty of food and drink booths. We will be waiting for you at our booth, so please feel free to come and say hello!

This year's official poster was created by picture book author Ryoji Arai.

Ordering for linen bags with embroidered initials
We will be holding an order event again this year for our embroidered linen tote bags, which were very popular last year.
We will be holding an order event for our linen bags (L'Espoir bags), which are usually sold exclusively online, at the Hataori Machi Festival. The fabric for these bags is made from 100% European linen yarn (from Safilin in France and LCN in Italy). Using this yarn, we slowly woven the bags on our own shuttle looms. There are two sizes and two colors of each bag. For embroidery, you can choose one initial of your choice from 11 thread colors and cross-stitch the embroidery. After embroidery, the bags will be carefully crafted to be reversible, so it will take approximately two weeks for delivery. We hope you look forward to receiving your bags.
The Lespoir bag is also recommended as a gift for someone special.
Please come and pick one up at the venue!

The S and L sizes are available in off-white and white.

It's reversible, so you can turn it over to enjoy a different linen look.

Embroidery that allows you to choose the thread color is cross stitch.
Learn more about the Lespoir bag here.

The tote bag created in collaboration with FC Fujizakura is finally on sale.
The "Hataori for You Project" was started by players who passionately wanted to become a presence that would support the local community as a women's soccer team, just as Yamanashi's local textile industry, which has been around for 1,000 years, has supported the region.
This bag is the first of these efforts. Going forward, the team plans to continue releasing one-of-a-kind products designed by the women's league players themselves in collaboration with various companies in the region. We're looking forward to seeing what comes next.
