The yarns are made from fine European flax and premium “Cooma Lamb,” a high-quality lambswool from Australia.
Linen has a naturally hollow fiber structure that works as an insulator, keeping warmth in during the winter. Lambswool, taken from young sheep, is exceptionally soft and gentle to the touch. Its delicate fibers trap warm air, offering natural comfort and coziness.
Thanks to linen’s low static properties, the fabric is also less prone to static electricity.
We carefully considered the weave, pattern, and color balance so that the blanket would blend beautifully into any interior simply by draping it over a bed or sofa.
Through the harmony of linen and wool, this textile was woven into a blanket that embodies both warmth and elegance.
The fold weave technique used here is a form of double weaving. The fabric is woven as if a sheet of newspaper were folded in half, allowing different weaves to appear on each side. One side of the blanket features a check pattern, while the other shows stripes—when unfolded, the design reveals a framed composition around the edges.
