Linen itself was originally cultivated in the climate and culture of Europe. At Tenjin Factory, we bring you linen products that can only be made in Japan, thanks to the encounter between linen and the dyeing culture of Japan, which uses natural dyes from the country's abundant vegetation. We produce products using traditional Japanese indigo dyeing methods such as lye fermentation and persimmon tannin dyeing, as well as hemp charcoal dyeing, which uses charcoal made from hemp husks, the core of the hemp plant. Each piece is dyed by hand, so the finished color is unique.
