Towel Pants

Towel Pants are made from TENJIN FACTORY's original linen fabrics.

One of linen's most distinctive qualities is its breathability. Whether it is a lightweight, gauze-like fabric or a more tightly woven fabric suitable for shirts and pants, linen naturally contains tiny spaces between the yarns that allow air to pass through. This openness is one of linen's greatest strengths and part of what makes it so comfortable to wear.

Linen also stays pleasantly dry against the skin, even when you perspire, helping to reduce the sticky feeling that often comes with hot, humid weather.

We continue to develop our own linen fabrics with one goal in mind: to create clothing that makes summer a little more comfortable by making the best use of these natural qualities.

As we work with linen every day, new ideas often appear in unexpected moments. Those discoveries become new fabrics, and those fabrics become our Towel Pants.

As a weaving mill, we care deeply about our textiles. But we are equally committed to thoughtful design.

The pants were designed in collaboration with a fashion designer who also runs an independent clothing label. As an experienced pattern maker, they carefully incorporated the unique characteristics of our fabrics, making use of the selvedge wherever possible and creating patterns that minimize fabric waste.

Our goal is simple: to make the pair of pants you reach for first on a hot summer day.
