Linen is highly absorbent yet dries quickly, making it an ideal material for kitchen cloths, towels, and hand towels.

This towel is woven on a traditional shuttle loom, creating distinctive selvedges along both edges. The selvedges—the white edges visible in the photos—are left unsewn, giving them an exceptionally thin and soft finish. The towel slips comfortably into your hand without any sense of bulk or resistance.

Look closely and you will notice a delicate pattern woven into the fabric, reminiscent of openwork or carved lace.

The M size is approximately the size of a traditional Japanese tenugui hand towel, while the S size is a compact hand-towel size.

Made from 100% linen, this towel is carefully washed in the clear waters of Mt. Fuji to remove impurities and bring out the natural softness of the fabric. Its flat, pile-free surface feels smooth against the skin, offering little friction and a gentle, comfortable touch.

Linen is naturally excellent at absorbing and releasing moisture, allowing it to dry quickly—even during winter and Japan’s humid rainy season. With every wash, the fabric becomes softer and more comfortable against your skin.
