Our first priority was to develop a fabric that minimizes irritation and friction against the skin.
For the raw material, we use yarn spun from high-quality European flax—cultivated in regions that have long nurtured a rich linen tradition.
Europe has been at the heart of linen production for centuries. Even today, it remains one of the world’s leading regions for growing flax, where time-honored practices and modern innovation come together to produce fibers of exceptional quality.
Yarns carefully spun from such high-quality flax are woven on traditional shuttle looms that place minimal stress on the fibers. Finished with a distinctive weaving technique, the result is a fabric with an exceptionally gentle, comfortable feel against the skin.
To minimize the adherence of chemical substances, the yarns are left undyed. We use only linen’s natural color—known as ecru—and a simply bleached off-white, preserving the material’s inherent purity.

This towel is woven in a plain weave. By minimizing the float of the yarns, plain weave creates a smooth, even surface that is gentle on the skin. It allows the fabric to absorb moisture effortlessly—simply press it against the skin, and it draws water away without the need for rubbing.
Linen is an ideal fiber for towels from a functional standpoint. It absorbs moisture quickly and dries fast. With continued use, the fibers gradually relax, becoming softer and gentler against the skin. It’s a towel that grows more comfortable over time—one you’ll come to treasure as your own.
