Custom-sized curtains from the mimi&wari series (single-sided)
Choosing a hanging method
Tenjin Factory's curtains are based on the concept of using natural materials woven into a single piece of fabric with as few accessories as possible, allowing them to play with the sunlight and breeze at the window.
For this reason, the hanging method is simple.
You can choose from the following five types.
1. Clip type
2. Ribbon type
3. Noren type
4. Tension rod type _ no frills
5. Tension rod type _ with frills
How to measure
First, measure the net size based on how the curtains will hang and the window frame. Then, add some extra space to this net size to get the actual size of the curtains.
*Net size refers to the size of the curtain without any allowance.
I. Net size in the length direction
II. Net size in width direction
The length of the rod to be used.
Allowance (adjustment value)
A. Extra length
Usually it is the same as the net size.
However, for waist windows, it is common to make it slightly longer than the window frame.
B. Extra width

Fabric characteristics
The mimi&wari series is a regular 100% linen fabric. It's the same quality as the beta series. The mimi series is particularly distinctive for its lines on both ends of the fabric (the parts called selvedge), which can only be made on traditional shuttle looms. The fabric, woven on this old loom, is washed multiple times to shrink it, so it won't shrink further even if you wash it at home. *Please follow the washing instructions carefully.

Transparency
The transparency is medium, and when used in combination with gauze (ga series) it becomes barely noticeable. However, when used indoors as a room divider like a noren curtain, it is not see-through even when used alone.

If you would like to check the fabric in advance, we have fabric samples available for an additional fee (1,000 yen including tax and shipping).
| Precautions for linen curtains | *Please be sure to read.
Washing linen enhances its texture. Our curtains are always washed before shipping. However, because it is a natural material, the dimensions after washing may vary. As a result, the size of the delivered product may be slightly larger than the one you ordered. Please be aware of this.
*This product is made to order and will take approximately 3 weeks to arrive.
